The girls finally gathered themselves and got up to get ready for Amyraโs bachelorette party, the excitement palpable in the air.
Nitya and Samaira quickly called the makeup and hair stylists.
"I'm so glad everything's already planned out," Ruhi said, stretching. "I don't think I could handle any more stress today."
"Definitely," Samaira replied, grinning. "I'm just so excited. Finally, one of us is getting married."
Meanwhile
With the Boys
Reyansh had been pacing, still in disbelief after hearing that Ruhi had agreed to marriage, which was just after a month of Amyra and Ahaan. But suddenly something struck him as he stopped pacing and looked at the others with a feeling of dread. How could he forget such an important thing? It was his responsibility to plan this event.
"Ahaan Bhaiya."
Ahaan looked up from his phone. "Hmm?"
Reyansh gave a pointed look. "You're forgetting something."
Ahaan raised an eyebrow. "What?"
Reyansh forced a smileโtight and absolutely fake. "Itโs your bachelor party tonight."
Ahaan dropped his phone as he looked at himself stupidly. "Shit. I did forget."
Agastya groaned. "Bro, why are you even worried? The whole club belongs to you. Everything is already done."
Vihaan stood up and said with a nervous look, "Everything except usโlook at yourselves, guys!"
They were all still in casuals, looking like trash, especially Reyansh, who looked like he had just been hit by a storm.
They quickly got up and rushed to their rooms to get ready.
Time Skip
Three Hours Later
In Amyra's Room
The room had been transformed into a beauty studioโmakeup palettes scattered across the dresser, hair tools buzzing in the background, and the scent of luxury perfume lingering in the air. The once chaotic space now shimmered with glam energy and anticipation.
Ruhi stood in front of the mirror, adjusting her shimmering golden-white sequin dress that draped effortlessly over her figure, with a white jacket over her shoulder. She gave a devilish smirk, showing off her confidence.
Amyra twirled around in her fiery red sequined dress, her "Bride-To-Be" sash sparkling under the lights.
Nitya rocked a shimmering silver dress with her sexy glasses, silver heels tapping rhythmically as she danced around.
Jeevika wore a navy blue bodycon mini dress that shimmered under the lights, making her look ethereal.
Samairaโs dress was pure dramaโa black sequin mini dress with a black jacket, hugging her silhouette like it was made just for her.
Amyra let out a low whistle. "Damn, Samaira. You're giving villain energy, and I love it."
Samaira smirked as she said, "Well, if life was a movie, I would prefer to be a villain than a hero. Anyways, I am causing too much drama these days."
Nitya asked, laughing, "When are you not, Samaira? I think only Ruhi and Jeevika are sane here. 'Cause we three definitely would be in jail with the hell we cause."
Samaira mumbled to Ruhi, "Thank God she doesnโt know that you are the real owner of hell."
Ruhi elbowed her to shut up, but Samaira just gave her a smirk as Ruhi sighed. Nitya was right; Amyra had the tendency to invite danger upon herself, and Samaira upon others.

With the Boys
In Ahaanโs Room
The boys had turned Ahaanโs room upside down, with clothes scattered everywhere and loud music playing in the background. Reyansh, Vihaan, and Agastya were all already dressed up; they were trying to tease Ahaan, saying it's his last night of freedom.
"Come on, bro, itโs your bachelor party!" Agastya exclaimed, grinning mischievously and looking at his best friend. "Youโre supposed to let loose, not look like youโre going to a board meeting."
Ahaan rolled his eyes but couldnโt help laughing. "Shut up, guys. Iโm just trying to look decent for my last night of freedom."
Vihaan chuckled, clapping Ahaan on the back. "Decent, Bhaiya? Youโre going to be the hottest guy in the club."
Reyansh said, giving a faint smile, "Yeah, if Amyra Bhabhi saw you, she would faint."
"I can bet my Rolls-Royce that before Bhabhi faints, Ahaan is going to faint seeing her," Agastya teased.
The boys continued to banter and joke around, their excitement palpable as they prepared to hit the club.
Reyansh was dressed in a sleek black t-shirt with a leather jacket, his hair styled perfectly, making him look like eye candy.
Vihaan wore a stylish black shirt, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
Agastya wore a white shirt, with his sleeves rolled up, the confidence radiating from him.
Ahaan, meanwhile, wore a dashing black suit, with his first three buttons open. He grinned, looking at himself.
Ahaan chuckled, shaking his head. "Iโm ready for this, guys. Iโm excited to start this new chapter with Amyra."
Agastya grinned mischievously. "Yeah, and weโre excited to see you become joru ka ghulam."
Everyone smiled when Ahaan said, "For her, I am ready to be joru ka ghulam also."
After Two Hours
Elysianโs Club
The night had been electricโfull of sequins, sass, and sparkling shots. The girls had danced until their feet ached, shouted song lyrics until their voices cracked, and laughed loud enough to echo through the walls of Club Elysianโs private lounge.
Nitya and Samaira drank champagne, leaving Amyra, Ruhi, and Jeevika to survive on soft drinks or juices.
Samaira and Nitya tried to convince Ruhi and Amyra to drink but stopped when they remembered it was Amyra's marriage tomorrow, and it definitely wouldn't be good if she got a hangover.
And Ruhi was a completely different case every time she remembered drinking. She couldn't help but recall the embarrassment and the mess she made in front of Reyansh.
Jeevika was not a drinker either, so she could also get a hangover; thus, the girls decided to remain in control and enjoy themselves.
But now, the music had faded into a soft pulse in the background. They were slouched on plush couches, high heels abandoned, makeup slightly smudged, laughing and giggling.
After giggling for a solid five minutes, Amyra said, "Let's play some games, guys. I am too tired to dance now."
"So, what are we playing?" Ruhi asked, tapping her fingers on her knees.
"What about Never Have I Ever?" Samaira suggested.
"And then Truth or Dare, please," Nitya said cutely.
"Okay, guys, I am starting the game. Umm, first question: Never have I ever lied about my relationship status?"
Samaira, Nitya, and Amyra took a drink as Jeevika and Ruhi looked at them with curious eyes.
"I lied to one of my clients that I am engaged because he wanted to go on a date. And I really didn't want to," Samaira said innocently.
Amyra said nervously, "When I first started dating Ahaan, people used to ask if I was in a relationship. Because I knew they would tell my parents, I lied, fearing I would get scolded."
Nitya said mischievously, "I have lied about relationship status numerous times. Whenever people get to know about my background or real identity, they want to date me. So I lie that I am already engaged to someone from childhood and can't date anyone else. Sounds orthodox and conservative, but it works."
Everyone nodded in understanding. Samaira said, "Okay, so next question."
They continued playing Never Have I Ever for a few more minutes, but it started getting boring, so Jeevika proposed to play Truth or Dare, and Nitya nodded.
After playing a round of Truth or Dare, suddenly Nitya looked at Samaira seriously and asked, "Truth or dare?โ
Samaira leaned back lazily and smirked. โTruth. I donโt run from drama. I am the drama.โ
Ruhi chuckled and said, โThis should be good.โ
But unlike everyone, Nityaโs face was unreadable. She asked in a low voice, โOkay then. Why did you reject Vihaan bhai nine years ago?โ
The air shifted. Ruhi stopped mid-laugh. Amyra straightened in her seat. Jeevika blinked.
Samaira suddenly froze. โโฆWhat?โ
Ruhi asked, confused, "When did Samaira reject Vihaan?"
Amyra and Jeevika looked at Samaira and Nitya seriously. The atmosphere was no longer happy and fun; the music was turned off.
Nitya said seriously, "The letter Vihaan Bhai gave to you on school farewell."
"Iโฆ never got a letter," Samaira whispered, completely surprised and confused.
Amyra blinked and asked Nitya, "Wait, what do you mean?"
Ruhi sat up and said, "I remember that day. Vihaan didnโt give any letter to Samaira. We were together the whole dayโduring the school farewell and after-party too."
Nitya said, now more confused than stern, "But Bhai told me he did keep the letter at your seat while you went for the introduction. But then, how did he get the reply?" She continued, making everyone shocked.
"REPLY? WHICH REPLY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?" Samaira said, almost stumbling as she realized the situation.
Thatโs when Nityaโs face changed as she also realized something and said, "Thatโs the thingโa reply did come. It wasโฆ brutal. It said things like 'You were just a time pass,' 'You really think I can like someone like you?' and worse. Ahaan Bhaiya saw it first."
The room went dead silent as everyone looked at Samaira worriedly, who sat down completely shocked, not able to believe what she was hearing.
"Ahaan Bhaiya, he was furious. You know how he is," Nitya continued, whispering. She realized that Samaira didn't get the letter and someone else replied in her place, but she knew she had to tell the truth to Samaira. "I remember him saying he was going to track down whoever wrote that andโ" she hesitated, "well, kill them. He was that angry. We thought you humiliated Vihaan bhai on purpose."
Samaira was frozen, mumbling to herself, as Amyra and Ruhi sat, each at her side, trying to calm her down. โButโฆ I never saw any letter. I never replied. I would never say those things to him.โ She looked at Nitya, her voice trembling now as she asked in a low voice, โDoes Vihaanโฆ think I said that?โ
Nitya moved her head in a no and said, "He never said your name. Not once. He protected your identity. He told me he gave the letter to someone to deliver and never blamed you, even when Ahaan Bhaiya was ready to find you or find the person who replied to the letter and kill them. He took a promise from Ahaan Bhaiya to never search for you or blame you."
Samairaโs voice cracked. "And all this time, I thought I was the only one who liked him."
A long silence settled over the group.
Then, Nitya spoke again. "He still never talks badly about you. Even when he told me about the letter, he said, 'Maybe she was never meant for me.'"
Samaira looked like she was about to cry, but her jaw tightened instead as she said, "I am not going to let the person who wrote that letter go."
Ruhi reached out and gently took her hand. "Yes, butโfirst, youโre going to breathe. And thenโฆ youโre going to fix this."
Amyra nodded, now serious. "Samโฆ he likes you. It's not one-sided."
Jeevika added softly, "Maybe itโs time you tell him the truth."
And for the first time that night, the loudest thing in the party was silence.
Everyone looked at Samaira as she suddenly stood up and asked Nitya, "Where is the letter?"
"Huh? What! Why? It's at the palace, but I am not sure where. Badi Maa must know where the letter is, as she kept all the important belongings of Bhai carefully somewhere before he went to study abroad," Nitya said quickly after seeing the glare that Samaira gave her.
Samaira didn't stay there for a minute and ran out, taking the keys to Ruhi's favorite bike. Everyone followed her but stopped seeing that it's raining heavily, while Samaira ran towards the bike, starting it, and before the guards could stop her, she left.
A few of the guards sat in their cars and started following her, but she was too fast. Even though she didn't have as good skills as Ruhi in bike riding, staying with her, she had learned enough to compete in a bike race. So this was nothing for herโexcept because of the rain. The roads had become slippery and dangerous.
Ruhi rushed to the part where there was a shed and saw her bike missing. "She's crazy! It's raining crazily!"
Amyra was already on her phone. "I need to call Ahaan. He needs to know what's going on. Samaira's not in her right mind."
Jeevika ran inside and brought everyone's purses and phones. "I've never seen her this determined. She'll be fine, right?"
"I'm not sure," Amyra replied, her tone shaky. "She's on a bike in this rain... she's going to get hurt!"
Nitya joined them, biting her lip in concern. "I... I shouldn't have said anything. I thought she'd be okay, butโif anything happens. Noโ"
"I'm going to follow her," Ruhi said firmly. "I'll grab the car, and we can go after her."
Everyone nodded as Jeevika gave their phones and purses to them, and they ran towards the cars while Amyra called Ahaan and said, "Ahaan, listen to me. Samaira... she's on her way to the Oberoi Palace. She's on a bike, and it's raining heavily. I will tell you everything else later. We are following her."
Ahaan's voice on the other end was calm but heavy with concern. "What?! Is she insane? She's going to hurt herself in this storm!"
"I know!" Amyra almost shouted. "Please, do something. We can't see her anymore."
Ahaan said in a comforting tone, "Don't worry, we are coming home right now."
After 10 Minutes
At the Oberoi Palace
The rain continued to pour heavily as Samaira finally reached the gates of the Oberoi Palace. Her bike slipped slightly on the wet ground as she slammed on the brakes and threw the kickstand down, running towards the entrance, completely soaked.
As she ran towards the living room, she finally came into view. Her dress, once elegant and shiny, was now clinging to her uncomfortably, the water dripping from her hair, her face pale from exhaustion and cold.
Nalini, Vandana, Vikram, Rajeev, and Amyra's parents, Dadi and Dadaji, who were talking and laughing at something, turned startled when Samaira burst through the door.
"Samaira?" Nalini gasped, her eyes wide in shock at the condition of Samaira. "What on earthโwhat happened to you?"
Samaira was barely able to stand, her breath coming in sharp, cold gasps. "I need the letter," she managed to say, her voice trembling. "Please... I need to know what happened. I need the letter."
"Which letter, beta?" Vandana asked, confused.
"The letter... the one Vihaan wrote to me... ten years ago. I never got that letter; someone else replied. Please, where is it?" Samaira said desperately, shivering from the cold, water still dripping down from her hair.
Nalini's and Vandana's faces paled upon hearing Samaira's words. Nalini rushed forward, her arms steadying Samaira as she made her sit in front of the fireplace. "Samaira beta, calm down; first, you need to change your clothes."
Vandana said something to the servants, and within a few minutes, they brought over blankets and hot towels for Samaira.
"But the letter..." Samaira insisted weakly. "Please, Nalini aunty. I need to see it. I need to know the truth. I need to know what was in the letter."
Nalini's face was now covered with sadness and concern as she nodded slowly. "Alright, Samaira. Stay here; let me get it."
After five minutes, Nalini came back with two envelopes. She gave both the envelopes to Samaira. "Here," Nalini said softly, handing her the letter. "I never understood why Vihaan kept these letters so safely for all these years. Maybe he never believed that the reply was written by you."
Samaira's hands trembled as she took the letter, her heart racing. She slowly opened it, her mind bracing for the truth that had been buried for so long. Her heart pounded in her chest as she opened the letter.
My dear Samaira,
How have you been? Iโve been well, but Iโve been thinking a lot. Weโll be parting ways soon, and we might not see each other again, and that is what pains me the most. I am very nervous as I write this letter to you.
From the moment I saw you, I knew that you were someone special. I still remember the first time I saw you when in 8th class; your cute laugh and your attitude caught my eye. I still laugh at that memory from time to time.
I can't believe sometimes we never spoke until the 10th, but still, in just a few months, we went from absolute strangers to friends. I miss those days, but Iโm glad I met you. Iโm glad we made such amazing memories together.
But as time went on, I realized something. Something that might ruin our friendship, something that might change our relationship.
The truth is that I have feelings for you. I never saw you as a sister or just a friend like others, but I saw you as something more, and it took me a lot of time to realize that.
Iโve been scared to confess, but since we might not meet again, I finally got the courage to write this letter.
I have really liked you for the past few years. I really have no idea how to tell you how much I love you. Iโm glad I met you, and all our memories will be forever engraved in my heart. I hope that we meet again, but I hope you know that I will always love you from afar, and you will always be my Jaan. My first and last love.
Also, I know you may never like me, but if we ever meet each other in the future, I hope you can look at me and give me your beautiful smile.
Yours only,
Vihaan
Her eyes softened, and a weak but fulfilling smile spread across her lips. She couldn't help but read the lines again and again. Her eyes blurred with happy tears, and her heart felt warm and lighter. She looked at the letter as if it was her most prized possession.
Finally, her eyes drifted to the other envelope. She felt a sense of anxiety; she could feel that she didn't want to read the letter, but she needed to know the truth.
She carefully kept Vihaan's letter to one side and opened the reply, and a look of dread crossed her face. She felt disgusted reading such a letter. How could someone be this cruel to reply to such a beautiful letter with these disgusting words?
