After an hour, which felt like an eternity, Dr. Rakshit came out of her room with a small but professional smile and said, "Good news, Ma'am. Ms. Samaira is regaining her senses. We have given her the necessary medicines; she should be conscious in half an hour or less."

Amyra felt a wave of relief washing over her after hearing Dr. Rakshit's words. Samaira was waking up. She thanked Dr. Rakshit and went inside the room and saw that Ahaan was ready and had instructed his people to prepare for shifting Samaira back to the haveli once she was stable and approved by the doctor.

Amyra looked at him with a huge smile and hugged him as tears of relief ran down her face. Ahaan hugged her back, picking her up as he wiped her tears and kissed her softly.

Amyra spoke, still hugging Ahaan, "Should I wake up everyone?"

Ahaan nodded and didnโ€™t let her go until she pulled away. "Yes, we should let them know that Samaira is waking up."

Amyra's smile widened as she quickly went around the room, waking up Ruhi, Nitya, Reyansh, Vihaan, and Agastya. At first, they were all groggy and disoriented, but as soon as they saw Amyraโ€™s face, they knew something had happened.

They saw Amyra smiling widely, her face still streaked with tears. Ahaan stood beside her, a soft smile on his face.

Ruhi was the first to speak up, her voice laced with confusion. "What happened?"

But before anyone could answer, Ruhi's face lit up with understanding. She squealed and smiled and jumped out of her bed but then groaned in pain because of her injuries and also because she was still attached to fluids and drips.

She lost her balance and almost fell, but Reyansh fortunately saved her as he was sitting on the bed beside her.

Amyra and Ahaan scolded her, but she didnโ€™t mind. Instead, she hugged Reyansh in excitement, completely taking him by surprise. But he knew it was because Ruhi was both emotional and drowsy because of the medicines and was not in her senses, so he didnโ€™t say anything and just hugged her back, which was a shocking sight to everyone, but they focused on what was necessary right now.

After Amyra informed them about everything, they decided to wait outside Samairaโ€™s room to keep an eye on her condition.

Nitya and Ruhi were sitting in their wheelchairs while the others were standing in front of Samairaโ€™s room, looking at the doctors checking her condition.

After what felt like an eternity, Dr. Rakshit came out with a small smile and said, "Ms. Samaira is gaining consciousness. You all can meet her now, but please try to keep the atmosphere calm and the conversation short."

Everyone smiled and sighed in relief after hearing that Samaira was now out of danger. They opened the door to Samairaโ€™s room and walked inside to see Samaira lying on the bed, and a lot of needles and equipment were connected to her body.

Amyra and Ruhi went towards Samaira, and Amyra slowly touched her head. Her face was pale, and she didnโ€™t have her usual smile or mischievous glint.

Vihaan slowly went to her other side. Ahaan and Reyansh both thought that Amyra and Ruhi would stop him, considering how protective they were of Samaira right now, but when they didnโ€™t say anything, it was kind of strange for them, but none of them said anything.

Amyra and Ruhi were trying to talk to her.

Samaira's POV

I was trying my best to see something, but all I could see was darkness. It was like I was falling in a never-ending hole, and no matter how much I tried, I just couldn't see the light.

I tried to move, but my body was paining like hell. My head had never felt so heavy, and the throbbing pain was just bringing tears to my eyes.

I could hear faint voices but couldn't decipher what they were saying.

I felt like giving up and wanted to just close my eyes forever, but when I recognized the faint voices, I knew I couldn't give up. Not this easily.

I could hear Amyra's hands on my head and her sobbing as she spoke to me, "Sam... please wake up. I promise I will never trouble you and will stop putting myself in problems. Please wake up..."

I really wanted to hug her and say that she could never cause me troubles. I tried to move, but my limbs felt heavy, as if they were not mine or that I had no control over them.

I couldn't see anything, but I could hear the faint sound of voices. Amyra and Ruhi's voices were calling out to me, urging me to wake up.

"Amyra..." I tried to whisper, but my voice was barely audible.

It was Ruhi; she was crying. That girl rarely cried. No matter how big the problem was, she always stood strong, and hearing her breaking like this was breaking me.

I couldn't let them cry, not because of anyone, and definitely not because of me.

The darkness was looming over me again, but I tried my best to not fall into this never-ending abyss. I tried my best to open my eyes, and after a lot of effort and willpower, I could finally open my eyes.

The bright light went straight into my eyes, tearing me up. I immediately closed my eyes and tried to open them slowly.

After a few seconds, my teary eyes finally adjusted to the bright light, and finally, I began to regain my senses.

Author's POV

As Samaira slowly opened her eyes, the bright light of the hospital room hit her eyes, making her tear up from the intensity.

She closed them immediately and slowly opened them again and finally began regaining her senses.

She looked around and saw everyone standing around in the room, looking at her worriedly.

Amyra was standing on her right side, trying to speak to her, her face etched with concern. "Sam, can you hear me? Blink your eyes if you can't speak."

Samaira tried to nod, but her head felt heavy, so she tried to speak, but her voice was not coming out. A tear fell down her eye at her condition, as Ruhi wiped her tear and said, "You don't need to cry, Sam. We are here with you. Just blink your eyes twice if you can hear and understand us."

Samaira blinked twice and looked at the other side where Vihaan stood. His face was pale, and worry could be seen on his face.

"Samaira, can you see me?" he asked, his voice soft.

A faint smile spread over her face as she blinked twice.

Ahaan and Reyansh stood at the foot of the bed, their faces etched with concern.

"Samaira, you're doing great," Ahaan said, his voice reassuring.

Nitya signaled Reyansh, who moved her wheelchair near Samaira, as Samaira smiled at her when Nitya said, "You are really strong."

Just then, Dr. Rakshit walked into the room, a professional smile on his face.

"Good morning, Ms. Samaira. It's great to see you're regaining your senses. I am going to check your vitals now."

He began to check her vitals, his eyes scanning the machines beeping around her. After making sure everything was okay, he looked at her with a small smile and said, "You're doing well, Ms. Samaira, but we need to keep you under observation for a few days."

Samaira looked at Ruhi and Amyra, trying to signal something, as she couldn't speak yet.

Ruhi, understanding her signal, asked Dr. Rakshit, "Why is she not able to speak?"

Dr. Rakshit said, "She suffered a shock, because of which she is not able to speak properly right now. But donโ€™t worry; within a few hours, she will be able to speak properly."

Samaira sighed in relief upon hearing this. Agastya and Ahaan looked at Dr. Rakshit, signaling him about something.

A few hours had passed since Dr. Rakshitโ€™s last visit. Samaira had been resting, her body slowly recovering. The machines beeping around her had become a familiar sound.

As she lay in bed, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. Her voice was slowly returning, and she could finally speak without straining herself.

Ruhi and Nitya had also been resting on the beds beside her.

Ahaan had arranged for all of them to stay in the same room so that they would not get bored, and security was also ensured, especially for Samaira. Danger was already surrounding her; thatโ€™s why they had planned this. They were not sure how effective this was going to be, but as long as they could keep her safe, they couldnโ€™t take risks anymore.

Soon a nurse and Dr. Rakshit came in to check on Samaira, Ruhi, and Nitya.

After checking Nitya and Ruhi, Dr. Rakshit came towards Samaira and asked her, "Ms. Samaira, how are you feeling?"

"It's better than before, but my head is still throbbing. And can you tell me how long it will take for my hand to be good again? I am a fashion designer; I can't afford to have my hand in a bad position for very long," Samaira asked worriedly.

"Ms. Samaira, I don't want to give you any false hopes. The injuries you have are serious; it can take up to three months for your hands to fully recover. Thankfully, no important nerve is damaged, so you can use your hand after its recovery. Your head injury is not that serious, but it would be best for you not to stress. It can cause fainting, though there will be slight dizziness," Dr. Rakshit said in a professional voice.

Samaira sighed to herself. She was going berserk with all the revelations and emotions, but she knew she couldn't have a breakdown, at least not right now.

Everyone was looking at Samaira with sad eyes, but they couldn't understand what she was thinking. She was completely blank, with no emotions on her face.

After a few seconds, Samaira asked Dr. Rakshit, "Is it necessary for me to stay and get treated in the hospital only?"

At Samaira's words, Dr. Rakshit looked at Ahaan and Amyra, confused, and said, "Well, proper treatment and bed rest are necessary; however, it's not necessary to receive all treatments here in the hospital only."

Amyra was going to ask Samaira if she wanted her to be treated in the haveli itself, but before she could ask, Vihaan asked the question. "If you want, we can get you treated at home only. Staying in the hospital can be quite a discomfort anyway. Do you want to get treated at the haveli?"

Samaira looked a little hesitant to answer, so Reyansh said, "You don't need to be hesitant; it won't take even 10 minutes to make the necessary arrangements at home."

"Then, can I get treated at home only?" Samaira said finally, with a frown on her face.

"Of course, Samaira di, why not? I think it would be better if we have arrangements at home only. Ruhi and I will also be able to recover faster," Nitya said in a firm voice.

"Alright, as you all say. Dr. Rakshit, prepare a medical team and do all the arrangements to shift Samaira, Ruhi, and Nitya to Oberoi Haveli. I will inform Papa and Mummy," Ahaan said to Dr. Rakshit, who nodded and bowed to him.

Time Skip

Samaira was sitting on her medical bed in the room while Nalini was feeding her the liquid meal she was to be given.

The room she was in was attached to a big open aangan. On Samaira's insistence, the gate of the room was wide open, and she could easily feel that she was sitting with everyone.

Ruhi and Nitya were also lying on the beds in the room comfortably as Amyra was sitting with Ruhi, and Nitya was lying her head on her mother's lap comfortably.

They all looked more comfortable and at ease than before, especially Samaira, which then Amyra revealed - that despite her and Ruhi being doctors, Samaira hated staying at the hospital.

Everyone laughed at this as Samaira looked away, embarrassed.

A team of 10 medical attendants, led by Dr. Rakshit, had taken up residence in the haveli to take care of Samaira, Ruhi, and Nitya. The attendants moved quietly and efficiently, checking on the trio's vital signs and administering medication as needed, and then left to do their work.

Ahaan, Vihaan, and Reyansh sat on couches and chairs scattered around the room. Vihaan and Ahaan were focused on their laptops, Vihaan's eyes drifting to look at Samaira every few seconds, which all the men noticed.

As the evening wore on, Samaira's eyelids began to close because of the effect of the medicines, and she drifted off to sleep. Nalini gently covered her with a blanket, smiling softly as she watched her sleep.

The room grew quiet, the only sound being the soft beeping of the machines monitoring Samaira's vital signs.

Meanwhile

In another room, Ahaan, Vihaan, Reyansh, and Agastya were sitting quietly doing their work.

The atmosphere was tense, the air thick with unspoken words. After some time, Ahaan spoke. "We need to talk about the accident."

Everyone looked at him with seriousness as Vihaan spoke in a deep and dark tone, "It wasn't an accident. Someone deliberately tried to kill her."

"I think it's her stalker," Reyansh said after thinking for a moment.

"Stalker?!" Both Ahaan and Agastya looked at Reyansh with surprise.

"Yeah, stalker. Ruhi told us about it. She said that a man has been stalking her and disturbing her by calling her. The letter in blood and those flowers were also from him," Vihaan said as he got up and brought two things: a box and a bouquet of dead black roses.

"Black roses?! It signifies obsession or dark love," Agastya said, looking at the flowers with an alarmed look.

"You know their meaning?" Reyansh looked at Agastya, surprised.

"Yeah, but how did these get here?" Agastya asked with doubt.

"We checked the CCTV footage; it was delivered by courier, but now that man is dead - the one who delivered the flowers and bouquet."

Ahaan opened the box and read the letter. His eyes turned red from anger as he looked at Vihaan, who was seething in anger. "We need to increase security now. Vihaan, you need to control yourself. We won't be able to make correct decisions without a cool mind."

Vihaan's eyes turned blank as he looked at the letters in Ahaan's hand. He spoke, his voice dripping with malice, "I'll take care of it. I'll do whatever it takes to keep her safe."

Reyansh's eyes locked onto Vihaan's, a hint of concern etched on his face. "Vihaan, what are you planning?"

Vihaan's smile was cold and calculated. "I'm taking back my position in the Mafia world. I'll show them all what it means to cross me and cross her."

Ahaan's eyes widened, shock written across his face. "Vihaan, are you sure? You've worked so hard to leave that life behind."

Vihaan's gaze never wavered, his voice deep and firm. "For her, I'll do anything. I'll burn the world to ashes if that's what it takes to keep her safe."

The room fell silent, the only sound being the soft crackling of the candle. Agastya's eyes seemed to gleam with a hint of approval, while Reyansh's face was etched with concern, but a hint of pride could be seen in his eyes.

Ahaan's voice broke the silence, his tone firm. "We are with you in whatever decision you take, Vihaan."

Time Skip

It's been a week since Samaira, Ruhi, and Nitya were in an accident. Ruhi and Nitya were now almost recovered. Samaira was no longer on bed rest; her head injury was in good condition now. Her hand's condition was still the same as told by Dr. Rakshit; the fracture could take up to three months to get fully recovered.

Ruhi, Nitya, and Amyra were in the kitchen along with Reyansh, Agastya, and Vandana, preparing dishes for Amyra's parents, who were arriving within a few hours for Ahaan and Amyra's engagement, which was to be held next week.

Ahaan, Samaira, and Vihaan were busy with the event management, decorations, and other tasks. Since Samaira still needed assistance, Vihaan was with her while also looking over the tasks.

Despite everyone's initial refusal for Samaira to do any work and just take rest, she managed to convince them that she would take care of herself and wanted to go with the original plan of planning the event.

The preparations were in full swing in Oberoi Haveli; Nalini and Dadi were deciding the jewelry for the event according to the dresses selected by Samaira.

Thankfully, the message that Samaira got on the day of the accident regarding the dresses getting spoiled was fake, though she was still mad about her team not working properly, considering the message she got was from the number she provided to her workers. But she had decided to let it go for the time being, as she didn't want to create any scene during the celebrations.

Dadu, Vikram, and Rajeev were looking over the security and guest lists, making sure everything was safe.

After a few hours, several cars arrived at the Oberoi Haveli. Amyra's parents finally arrived.

Amyra ran towards her parents, hugging them tightly, as everyone smiled. Manish kissed his daughter's forehead and smiled.

The Oberoi family members greeted them with namaste, as Ahaan, Vihaan, Reyansh, and Agastya touched their feet and took their blessings.

Amrita looked at Samaira and Ruhi and widened her arms with a smile and called out, "Baccho, won't you both hug your favorite aunt?"

Samaira and Ruhi looked at each other and then rushed towards her, enveloping her in a hug.

Manish looked at Samaira worriedly and asked, "Are you okay, Samaira beta? That injury looks serious. And Ruhi and Nitya beta, are you both okay?"

Samaira backed away from the hug and looked at Manish with respect as she said, "I am good, uncle. I am recovering. The doctor has said it might take up to three months for full recovery of my hand, but the rest is good."

Ruhi also said, "Yes, uncle, I am completely fine too now."

Nitya also said politely, "Yes, uncle, I am fine too. The injury was not too serious."
